Ready! . . . Aim! . . . Fire!

For most hockey fans, August is a time to tackle the Honey Do lists, work on the golf swing, play with the dog and visit with the family. You know, all the things you put off during hockey season. But some of us just can't wait until October. We're jonesing for hockey, or at least hockey talk. That is how CannonFest came to be. 

This Sunday from 1-4PM, hockey fanatics and Blue Jackets fans from all over Ohio (and beyond?) will convene at the Buffalo Wild Wild Wings in Grandview for the third annual CannonFest. And pardon the cliche, but this Festival of the Cannon will be the biggest and best yet. 

There would be a lot less fest in CannonFest without a new video from Tom Larrow (@Skraut_). You will get two of those! The raffle (conducted by the Jacket Backers) will once again feature coveted CBJ memorabilia and, of course, a kick-butt hockey beer sign donated by Molson. The Arch City Army will be there, ready for you to enlist. Fox Sports Ohio will be showing a demo of their new GameConnect feature for this season. The Fox Sports Ohio Girls will be there, and they are bringing their Prize Wheel! The Cannon Report will be recording a podcast. Nick Johnson (@CBJ_DJ) will be spinning the tunes and Rick Gethin (@rickgethin) will be on the microphone. All this and a room (or two rooms actually) full of some of the greatest peeps and hockey fans around!
